Week Ever.
Good or bad best week ever? You go on and decide.
Good:
-I learned the entire themesong from The Muppet Show.
-I went to an amazing local concert by a charming fellow (http://www.colbystead.com) with Brenda, whom I have not seen in forever and a day.
-At said concert (which took place on Friday the 13th), I walked away from a makeshift raffle with Silence of the Lambs on VHS and It by Stephen King*. (This is middling-good, as I am not such a fan of scaring myself half to death.)
-We went to Osaka, and Natalie got her food in a boat-- the chicken boat.
-Erin is going to be home tomorrow.
-I have been doped up on painkillers.
-My left pinky finger, my left ankle, and my left knee are not broken.
-I saw Cadence, Nicole's three-week-old niece. She has dimples.
-I wrote, but not for you.**
Bad:
-The entire themesong from The Muppet Show consists of repeating "manamana" and "doo-doo-doo" over and over.
-I have gotten Nicole addicted to it and we cannot stop singing it.
-Erin and I got in a battle over whether it was "phenomena" or "manamana".
-There are things that I want to tell you about, but I really can't, and I'm sorry. Just know they're here, and they'll come out soon. If you really want to know, go on and ask, it's okay.
-I sprained my left ankle and twisted my left knee‡.
-My left pinky was accidentally slammed in a car door earlier tonight.
-It stung like a bitch.
-We decided that the whole left side of my body has it in for me.
-I sat down in the rocking chair and knocked my right elbow on the hard wooden arm support, leading me to believe that the left side of my body had coerced the right side of my body into a ferocious battle to end me, once and for all. To which I shouted, at the top of my lungs, "SCREW BEING ALIVE!! I AM SO OVER THIS!!"
*and another movie that I gave to Brenda, because she won nothing. Some Wes Craven movie about voodoo, from the eighties.
**I really am sorry, it's a goal to write here more often.
†with subsequent dancing.
‡my bad knee.
